"No wonder Game Gear failed."

Game gear really could have succeeded but it was because of stupid games like this it failed and the technologically inferior Game Boy succeeded. Game Gear always came out with really nice looking graphics but nothing much to do. I mean, what is Ecco? You're a dolphin, you swim around, and sure there's a plot, but it's so frustrating and stupid you're gaming experience will be something like this: Put cartridge in, swim around like an idiot, dive out of the water a few times, put cartridge away, sleep, whatever. The game is so stupid. It's actually Mario brothers with superior graphics, more frustrating challenge and you do it underwater. Of course, that can't be true because Mario Brothers for Game Boy Color kicked ass. No, this is just stupidity. The graphics are great, so is the sound for the time this came out, certainly soothing. The challenge is ridiculous and the game isn't fun enough for you to pursue it like you would in fun games like Half Life or Goldeneye. And the story is really cool. You're a dolphin seperated from his pod, and for some reason going to find them involves travelling through time and aliens and other stupid, inane things. Put this game in a tuna net and watch it drown. Arrgh.
