"Not as bad as people say but still pretty bad"

Bad Boys Miami Takedown was rated terribly by almost every gaming site out there. It was bad but I think it did deserve at least a 5. In the game you play as Mike Lowrey or Marcus Barnett. You cant choose who you play as but it changes by levels.

Gameplay: 6.1 The game does play with many quirks going on that can really get annoying. Like the enemies can be really dumb and not even see you in obvious situations. The enemies run around dumbly and the game can be beaten within hours. All you can do is bend down and dive forward or backward. This is why the game is very simple. They do have a lock on system where you could lock enemies to kill them, but not using it to get headshots is better so that is basically a waist.

Presentation: 3.0 The presentation in this game was horrible and the cutscenes were just plain bad. If they had Will Smith's and Martin Lawrence's voices the presentation would be much better. The storyline is dumb and really has no point to it. If you play the game you would just skip the cutscenes and play the game instead of waisting your time listening to fake voices of Mike and Marcus. Also, during the game, Mike and Marcus shout out really dumb comments that make no sense what so ever.

Sound: 7.5 The gunshots fired during the game don't sound that bad. Also explosions and footsteps are well done. I still hate the voices and dumb comments made. This is probably the only part of the game done well.

Graphics: 4.8 The graphics of this game are pathetic and really disgrace the power of xbox. They are so bad some dreamcast games have better graphics then this. Mike and Marcus look nothing like themselves and the character models are not done good at all. The levels do not look good and are designed badly.

Lasting Appeal: 3.0 The game can be beaten in a matter of hours and has no lasting appeal at all. You can beat the game in less than an hour if you are really good at it. It may be fun to come back to the game and play it once in a while but the game is just too short.

All in all, the game is not well done and you should not buy this game. The price is only $20 but I would not get and waist your money. If you are a die hard Bad Boys fan, you might actually like this game. If you're not, then you wont like this game a lot. My advice is this. You should rent the game for just one day only and beat. This will save money rather than buying it so it could gather dust in your house after one day.
