"Nothing I have to complain about."

Introduction -
The movie was one of the best Disney movies ever made, because good Disney movies are very rare and they don't make them like they used to. This game of course is based of the movie “The Lion King” so most of you will know the story, if not go down to “Story”. So sit back and read the review for one of the better Disney games made.

Gameplay - 7
Gameplay is superb, at the start of course you control the Lion cub Simba who will take a trip across 10 action packed levels. Simba has a roar meter as well as a health meter, which are kind of small. Every level is full of difficult enemies, and some levels have bosses. As you go through levels you collect Beatles and other Bugs all the time so keep a lookout all the time. You will also come across two certain bug that can be very difficult to find. One of them will increase you Health Meter, the other your Roar Meter, and you will need them because this game is not easy,

This game is one of the most difficult Disney's game available so don't think “This will be easy it's a kids game” because it's not easy at all. You will find yourself dying a lot, and it may make you go crazy, there are some very difficult enemies, such as the Hyenas who are not easy and will be killing you a lot, but luckily you will turn in too a Adult Simba, around 2/3 of the way through the game, and Hyenas will get easier, but you will also have new problems that are even more hard.

Also through the game if you find a certain bug in the level, you will get a bonus round, which give you lives a continue, but they are not easy either. One you will control Pumbaa as Timon runs around dropping bugs and Pumbaa must catch them. The other you control Timon and you will have to run around collecting all the bugs while avoiding the Black Widows as they will make you lose. So the game play is good and you may enjoy it.

Story - 9
Well most people will know the story and all that happens, but if not I'll explain. You control Simba future King who's father is Mufassa the King of Pride Rock. But Mufassa's brother Scar wants to be the King of Pride Rock, so he tricks Simba and Mufassa to go down is a gorge where he hopes they will meet there death. Simba gets out alive but Mufassa is not so lucky and dies at the hand of Scar.

Graphics/Sound - 8
There good, the characters look just as they did in the movies, and the music is taken directly from the movie as well. The back round is for each level is nicely done too. So yes the Graphics and Music is fine, and should not be a problem.

Play Time/Replayability - 6
There 10 levels in all, and there not that long, so the main problem with the play time is you'll die a lot. You may replay this game often or you might not. But I'm not gonna, because I'm lazy.

Final Recommendation -
You can't buy it new, you can't hire it any more, so the only thing to do is either shop around for it second hand for about $5, or download the ROM.

Have fun!
